88th and Atlantic

Went over to 88th today, and didn't leave till it was too dark. Went with Patrick, and we got in a couple of singles and doubles games. He had me 8-1 as it was getting dark, but I caught a few lucky breaks and won 11-9. His serve was virtually unreturnable for those first 9 points. I couldn't even move my feet on a couple of them.

Patrick shook Buddy Gantt's hand before we started playing, and we are both of the opinion that Buddy has magical powers.

The doubles games on the first court were great to watch. I love that park. Will go to this park for the rest of the summer.
