- Born and raised in harlem. 7th grade student of Satish Jagnandan. Married wit children. LOL. Handball fanatic. Used to love going to the park on the weekdays to watch the oldtimers playing in Bailey park. Learned alot from the old timers. Trying to get handball started out here in florida. Not too many places around me. Sucks to be here. Met my wife at the handball courts. so anybody from Vancortlandt Park or used to play there. If you remember my NANA from the courts then you know my wife. Used to make a killin sellin cigs for $ 1. lol. We want to get back in the game. Shout out to everybody from nyc from vancortlandt and bailey park. see ya'll in the summer.

- Used to be Bailey park and Vancortlandt park. Now it's sneaking into the high school next to where I live to play on the court. no other court in a 10 mile radius. They have lots of 3 wall courts. no one wall.

PRACTICE:
There's a good chance we'll practice tomorrow Wednesday at Sunset Park. Try to make it out there by 5 pm. I'll be there btwn 5 & 6 pm. Take the Palmetto South and exit on Sunset Drive (SW 72nd street) and go west to 97 Ave. (behind I-Hop). Hit me up earlier in the day. I usually like to txt all possible parties that can attend.
I see you have interest in "trying handball started" in Florida. If you are sincere with this thought then we mos def have to hook up. This is exactly what me a handful of individuals including myself have been trying to do out here.
VENUES :
Besides Sunset Park, handball can also be played on a weekly basis at:
Flamingo Park in South Beach,
Garfield Park in Hollywood Beach,
Phipps Park in West Palm Beach
& there's also game in Coconut Creek.
Another venue for one wall is Delta Park in Spring Hill (btwn Tampa & Orlando).
Also there's a house up in Sanford (north of Orlando) that has 2 courts. The guy up there likes to refer to it as the Tournament House.
Apart from these parks mentioned there are a couple of one wall courts in the City of Miami area but you probably won't find game out in those places.
And definitely count me in on those private courts. Start coming out so you start meeting the players.
ONE WALL STREET HANDBALL EVENT:
Now the event I'm hosting in Sunset has 2 levels to play. C & D.
I kept the D in mind for our senior players, middle school playerS, & a few ladies. Also this level is for players as yourself who have been out of the game for some time and want to get back in. So even if you don't want to participate in it you can still meet a lot of our FHL Familia, hang and have a nice afternoon this Sunday. Check out the "Events" tab for details.

Since you ask I'm originally from Queens NY. Mostly grew up playing handball in the Elmhurst are where you can still find players trying to do their hustle playing & betting side bets. But when I started getting back into the game 8 years ago I started going to Vancourtland & Broadway Juction to fince night games.
