I started playing 4-wall indoor in 1968 when i was 12. After 2 mos of playing, my Dad took me to San Francisco to watch a tourney. I saw Paul Haber in his prime, and although he was obstreperous in his frippery, he was king of the courts...and his "off" left hand and ceiling strokes were poetry in motion.

In 1972 playing in a 36 hour handball marathon at Watsonville, CA YMCA when I was 16. Teaching students to play 4-wall indoor at UC Santa Cruz when I was only 19 yrs old!
