I am just south of Houston down hwy 288 and Hwy 6 outside Pearland. My Indoor Handball court /gymnasium is now completed. It's a Full Size One wall court made of specially made Raquetball Wall panels that are in U of H and Lifetime Fitness courts. The court is inside a climate controlled steel building on my personal property. That means no matter what the weather is like or what time it is, I can play at anytime. I am looking for players who play Big Blue One-wall. The building is my dream to have finally. Competition is welcome. I consider myself a good player. What kind of accommodations are available if we needed to crash for the night. Do you plan on doing any tourney's anytime soon? Do you have any pics of the interior. How does the ball bounce on plywood? What are airport options? Would Houston be the closest alternative? Let us know.

-The building will have guest rooms but the rooms are far from finished. In the future weeks to a month) there is a possibility of Certain players could come in and stay in one of the guest rooms.
Rain has slowed the subs working down as the building/gym is more like a house than just a steel building .
So it has taken way longer to finish than I ever thought.
-Yes, eventually I would be open to hold a tourney. But there is only one court so not sure if that is enough.
-The wall being a finished surface wooden wall in my opnion the ball bounces off it better than concrete. Seems to speed up the game a little. I could have easily had concrete forms poured. Obviously I prefer a wooden wall.
-The last pics of some of the inteior is on my profile page.I did not post pics of every part of the building.
-I am about 20-25 minutes from Hobby Airport. I am closer to Hobby than IAH.
- I am in a small town right next to Houston. My driveway is 25 Minutes from where the Texans play football.
When the lines are painted and the wall is finished and the building is semi furnished I will try and keep games going daily. Players coming from out of town is cool too. I just want people to play against everyday; ▶ Reply to This

I am hoping to have the first official gameday at my new court in about 3 weeks( yea its been longer than I thought). Painters start work on Monday. Only Trim and fixtures after that. What 24 Hr fitness location?. There is raquetball courts usually not used at the one on Westheimer and dairy ashford. Anyone able to go there maybe would be a decent place to play ahead of time. I acctually asked the MGR.s at a few location if I could line up the walls, if I get a few members wanting it, but they shot down the idea it would have to be a corporate descision..hit me back pick a eve. not wed. ...Im tied up wed. eve...later...BALL!!!!; ▶ Reply to This

Perhaps next year once we had a while to play on my court and find out who the better players are then some will go to compete.
